Mark Rawlison has been with Star 1310 since 2002. He hosts the middays from 10am to 3pm and makes the day fun with The All Request Lunch Hour, The Workday Double Play, trivia questions, jokes and frequent guest artist. He also hosts Star 1310's community affairs program Inside Hampton Roads, which has had guests of local and national acclaim such as Yolanda Adams, Vivica Fox, Dr. Joseph Lowery, and covered topics from money to politics to health.

Where Ya' from ?! -- I 'm a New York Native but I grew up in Newport News! My father was in the Army and we lived at Fort Eustis. I went to schools here and graduated from Denbigh High School.
How long you been doin' radio? School and Stuff? -- About 10 years or so. I got started by attending the New School of Contemporary Radio in Albany, New York. One of the best experiences of my life! I've done other stuff too, like video production, narrating for films, and sales. I've been in gospel radio for about 5 years and I've also been trained as a Recording Engineer. United States Marine Corps Reserve. Business school.
What do you do when not working? -- Find some quiet time! A good play. I love all types of music. I play bass guitar and sing. " A good cup a' Joe and a nice dinner always make my day! "
Pet Peeves! -- I hate being late for anything! Gossip. Crime; we need to work on that more as a community. Especially by helping our kids.
